About & Process

Built to hold up.

Getting to the right number on a disputed property insurance loss — and building the record that makes it hold, across Ohio.

About

Ironclad Assessment Group, LLC was founded by Travis Haessly to determine the amount of loss at the right number — and to build the record that makes it hold. The independence and procedural rigor behind that work answer to the evidence, not to either side.

The name is the promise: a process and a record built to hold up — to the carrier, to the umpire, and to a court.

Our standard of independence

Our process

A documented, Ohio-specific workflow

1

Engagement & authority

We execute a written engagement agreement. You have a three (3) business-day right to cancel under Ohio law.

2

Authority confirmation & intake

We confirm written invocation of the appraisal clause and that the dispute is limited to the amount of loss. No valuation work proceeds without proper invocation.

3

Evidence intake & normalization

We take in existing carrier estimates, inspection and engineering reports, photos, and pre-existing third-party estimates, and organize them neutrally.

4

Independent valuation

We inspect and value the loss on its own merits, independent of any prior estimate.

5

Itemized award

The award separates damages by category, on an RCV or ACV basis as the panel determines.

6

Umpire, if needed

If the appraisers can't agree, a neutral umpire resolves the difference; you pay one-half of the umpire's fee directly.
