Property Insurance Appraisal & Umpire Services · Central Ohio
Ironclad Assessment Group, LLC determines what your property loss actually costs to repair — and documents it so the number holds with the carrier, the umpire, or a court. Independent appraisal and umpire services across central Ohio.
What appraisal is
Most property insurance policies contain an appraisal clause: a process for resolving a disagreement over the amount of a loss — not whether the loss is covered.
When you and your insurer can't agree on how much the damage is worth, each side appoints a competent and disinterested appraiser to determine the amount of loss. If the two appraisers disagree, a neutral umpire resolves the difference.
Why Ironclad
We determine the amount of loss from what it actually takes to restore the property — itemized, in current Ohio pricing.
A documented, Ohio-specific workflow built to produce a clear award that holds up with the carrier, the umpire, or a court.
Our pay is a retainer and hourly rate, never contingent on the outcome. We determine the amount of loss; we don't adjust, negotiate, interpret policy language, or settle claims.
How it works
Engagement → Confirm appraisal invocation → Neutral evidence intake → Independent valuation → Itemized award (umpire if needed).
